Over 4 decades ago, Phil started selling Real Estate at 19 years old while majoring in Real Estate and Marketing at San Diego State University. By 28 years old, he became the youngest Vice President of Coldwell Banker in the United States. He was promoted to the corporate office in Newport Beach and reported to the Chairman of the Board. After an illustrious corporate career, Phil went back into sales when his daughter, Torie, was born. After joining Prudential/Berkshire Hathaway, he became the #1 agent in Orange County and #8 in the U.S.A. In 2018, he joined forces with Pacific Sotheby’s in Dana Point. Today, he is the proud father of 3 children. After college, his son, Ryan, joined him growing the Immel name into a two-generation Father/Son team. It’s proven to be the perfect blend of “old school meets new school.”

The Guru has been featured on many national programs such as: Fox Business, CNBC, CNN, and Neil Cavuto. For several years, Phil was the voice and face of Real Estate for Chapman University Economic Reports. Additionally, he is a contributor to Forbes, Reuters, KNX1070 Radio, and the Wall Street Journal.
Beyond Real Estate, he enjoys ocean activities with his 3 children, Torie, Ryan, and Blake. Phil volunteers his time for a myriad of local charities including an appointment to the Ocean Institute Board of Directors.
